MAU SUMMERCAMP
Thank you for taking the time to look at our summer camp program. Our summer camp is sure to be the best in Charlotte! The last six years our programs have been voted top ten in the United States and Canada by MAW magazine. We are Charlotte’s only true age specific program for martial arts and the only program in the area with an incredible Self Discipline, Character Development and Personal Power curriculum built into the activities. The kids love the Champions Attitude and the Champions Journey curriculum. On top of all that it is tons of fun.

This summer will be like no other! Every Week we have field trips. We study science in a way that is fun for kids and they will go home talking about it. We will discuss history. Not only discuss it, but the kids will reenact the event that we discussed. Every participant will be an actor. We will have art activities. From molding clay to drawing to painting, every child will feel like a Champion at the end of their day. Each week will have a different sports theme. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, the sports activities will challenge you and teach you new skills.

Every child deserves the opportunity for fun. Every child deserves the opportunity to grow. But more importantly every child deserves the opportunity to become empowered and build their inner self. Anything is possible once you believe you can!

Sample Day

  • 7:00-9:00 drop off

  • 9:00-9:15 start our day getting into our teams and reviewing camp rules

  • 9:15-12:00 Four activity rotation based on the days themes
    or on a field trip

  • 12:00-12:45 Lunchtime (lunch provided by parents, please no peanut products), relax, 15 minute reading time

  • 1:00-3:00 Four station rotation based on the days activities
    and weeks theme

  • 3:00-3:30 snack time (provided by MAU) and change into uniform

  • 3:30-6:00 martial art classes, character development exercises, center activities, clean up, getting ready to go home
